Based on the same principle in operation as the smoke detector, this unit detects smoke and has the capability of sounding its internal sounder when instructed to by the control panel. Also available as a multi -sensor, the unit is capable of generating 90dBA so that it can be installed in sleeping accommodation and/or offices to provide an acceptable volume in the event of a fire.
